As a way of supporting Rural Special School and raise funds for their athletic department, Stone Bank will give away $5 “Rebel Dollars” coupons at the school’s homecoming games on Dec. 13, the bank announced in a release.

According to Kendall Stubbs, Stone Bank Mountain View’s branch manager, the first 100 fans who attend will receive a Rebel Dollar coupon worth five dollars at the concession stand.

“We have quite a few Rural Special graduates at Stone Bank, and we had such a wonderful time there a few weeks ago when they honored one of our founders, J.T. Compton as a distinguished alumni, that we decided we should do something fun to stay involved and support the school.”

Rural Special teams will be facing the Sacred Heart Rebels with the junior high boy’s game starting at 5 p.m. The senior high girl’s and boy’s games will follow.

“We hope Rebel fans will show up big and have a snack on Stone Bank,” said Stubbs.
