The Arkansas Activities Association and the Arkansas High School Coaches Association have announced the 2018-2019 Coach of the Year awards, and Batesville’s Stan Fowler has been named Girls Basketball Coach of the Year. The Batesville Lady Pioneers took home the 4A State Championship earlier this year, and Fowler was also named the All-Arkansas Preps Girls Coach of the Year by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

Fowler coached the Batesville girls to a 14-0 conference record and finished the season with an overall record of 29-3 culminating with the girls 4-A State Championship. The Batesville girls averaged scoring just over 68 points per game while giving up just over 47.

Congratulations to Coach Stan Fowler of the Batesville Lady Pioneers.
